Ingredients
Scale
Fudge Base
- 24 ounces white chocolate chips
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
Chocolate Swirl
- 1 cup chocolate chips (milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or semi-sweet)
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking and set it aside for easy removal of the fudge once it has set.
- Melt White Chocolate and Peanut Butter: Combine the white chocolate chips and creamy peanut butter in a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl. Heat the mixture in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each interval until the mixture is completely melted and smooth. Pour this mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
- Create Chocolate Swirl: In a separate small microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips by heating them in 30-second increments, stirring until fully melted. Drizzle or scoop the melted chocolate over the peanut butter and white chocolate layer in the pan. Use a knife to gently swirl the chocolate back and forth, creating a marbled effect.
- Set the Fudge: Let the fudge sit at room temperature for about 2 hours or until it is completely set and firm enough to cut into squares.
- Cut and Serve: Once set, remove the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into 24 equal squares and serve as a delicious, rich dessert or treat.
Notes
- You can use milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or semi-sweet chocolate chips for the swirl to vary the flavor.
- For faster setting, you can refrigerate the fudge for about 1 hour instead of letting it set at room temperature.
- Be careful not to overheat the chocolate during melting to avoid scorching or seizing.
- Store leftover fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week, or refrigerate to extend freshness.
- Using parchment paper simplifies removing the fudge from the pan and helps to cut neat squares.
