Description

Ingredients

Linguine or Spaghetti:

8 ounces

Olive Oil:

2 tablespoons

Garlic (minced):

3 cloves

Red Pepper Flakes:

1/2 teaspoon

Large Shrimp (peeled and deveined):

1/2 pound

Lump Crab Meat:

1/2 pound

Dry White Wine:

1/2 cup

Heavy Cream:

1/2 cup

Grated Parmesan Cheese:

1/2 cup

Lemon Juice:

1 tablespoon

Lemon Zest:

1 teaspoon

Chopped Fresh Parsley:

2 tablespoons

Salt and Pepper:

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water, cook pasta al dente, and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
  2. Sauté Aromatics: Heat oil, sauté garlic and red pepper flakes.
  3. Cook Seafood: Add shrimp, then crab, cook until opaque.
  4. Create Sauce: Pour in wine, simmer, add cream and cheese, thicken.
  5. Combine: Add pasta, lemon juice, zest, toss, season, garnish, and serve.

Notes

  • You can substitute the crab meat with scallops or additional shrimp.
  • For a lighter option, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
