Description

Create a festive and fun breakfast treat with these adorable Reindeer Pancakes, perfect for holiday mornings. Made with simple pancake batter and decorated using bacon strips for antlers, a strawberry for a red nose, whipped cream eyes, and chocolate chip pupils, these pancakes bring cheer to the table in just minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

Pancakes

  • Pancake Mix or Homemade Pancake Batter (enough for 2 pancakes)

Toppings and Decorations

  • 2 strips Bacon (cooked)
  • Whipped Cream (for eyes)
  • 1 Strawberry (for nose)
  • 2 Chocolate Chips (for pupils)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Pancakes: Prepare your pancake batter using either pancake mix according to the package directions or your favorite homemade pancake recipe.
  2. Shape Pancakes: Cook one large pancake to serve as the reindeer’s head and one smaller pancake for the nose.
  3. Create Ears: Either cook a couple of tiny pancakes for the ears or cut around the larger pancake and use the scraps to form the ears.
  4. Add the Nose: Cut the tip off of the strawberry and place it onto the smaller pancake to serve as the bright red nose.
  5. Make the Antlers: Cut the cooked bacon strips in half and position the pieces to resemble reindeer antlers on top of the large pancake.
  6. Form the Eyes: Add two small sprays of whipped cream on the large pancake to create eyes, then place two chocolate chips on top for the pupils.

Notes

  • Use gluten-free pancake mix for a gluten-free version.
  • You can substitute bacon with turkey bacon for a leaner option.
  • To enhance the appearance, slightly warm the strawberry before placing it on the pancake.
  • These pancakes are perfect for a festive breakfast or brunch during the holiday season.
