Ingredients

Scale

Sausage:

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled

Pancake Batter:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Add-Ins:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (plus extra for serving)

Additional:

  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, beat eggs, then add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Pour into dry ingredients and stir.
  4. Add Remaining Ingredients: Fold in cooked sausage, cheese, and maple syrup.
  5. Bake: Pour batter into the baking dish and bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and set.
  6. Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving warm with maple syrup.

Notes
