Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch cast iron skillet.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Form Dough: Gradually stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients to form a soft dough.
  5. Assemble: Press half of the dough into the skillet, spread Nutella over it, then cover with remaining dough. Sprinkle topping sugar and cinnamon on top.
  6. Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Cool before slicing and serving warm.
