Ingredients
Tilapia Fillets:
4 tilapia fillets (about 6 oz each)
Breadcrumb Mixture:
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped), 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves (or 1 teaspoon dried), 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Coating and Others:
2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
- Mix Breadcrumb Mixture: Combine panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
- Prepare Mustard Mixture: In a small bowl, mix olive oil and Dijon mustard.
- Coat Tilapia: Pat dry the tilapia fillets, brush with mustard mixture, then coat with breadcrumb mixture by pressing gently.
- Bake: Arrange fillets on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and fish flakes easily.
- Serve: Serve hot with lemon wedges.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil the fillets for the last 1-2 minutes of baking.
