For the Frozen Cherry Cola Float Pops:
- 2 cups cherry cola (regular or diet)
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup frozen cherries (pitted)
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (optional, based on sweetness preference)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the cherry cola, vanilla ice cream, frozen cherries, lemon juice, and sugar if using.
- Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little room at the top for expansion.
- Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 6 hours or until solid.
- To release, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds and gently pull out the pops.
Blend until smooth but still slightly thick.
Notes
- You can swap vanilla ice cream for frozen yogurt for a lighter version.
- Try using cherry vanilla cola for an extra flavor twist.
- If you like chunks of cherry in your pops, pulse the mixture lightly or stir in chopped cherries after blending.
