Description

This Crunchy Cheeseburger Wrap recipe combines the classic flavors of a cheeseburger with the convenient handheld form of a wrap. Ground beef is seasoned and cooked with tangy condiments and spices, then wrapped in a tortilla with shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and crunchy crushed tortilla chips. The wraps are pan-fried until golden and crispy, making them perfect for a quick, satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale

Beef Mixture

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Wrap Fillings

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • 1 cup crushed tortilla chips or crispy fried onions

Wraps and Cooking

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Oil for pan-frying

Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease if needed.
  2. Season the Beef: Stir in ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the mixture is well combined and heated through.
  3. Prepare Tortillas: Warm the flour tortillas slightly to make them pliable and easy to roll.
  4. Assemble Wraps: On each tortilla, add a scoop of the beef mixture followed by shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, pickles, and crushed tortilla chips.
  5. Roll Wraps: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly into a wrap to encase the filling.
  6. Pan-Fry Wraps: Lightly oil a skillet and place the wraps seam-side down. Cook over medium heat for 2–3 minutes on each side or until the wraps are golden and crispy.
  7. Serve: Slice each wrap in half and serve warm for a delicious, crunchy cheeseburger experience in wrap form.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey for beef or use plant-based crumbles for a vegetarian version.
  • Add jalapeños or hot sauce to the beef mixture or wrap for a spicy kick.
  • For extra crunch, bake the assembled wraps in a preheated oven at 400°F for 5–7 minutes instead of pan-frying.
