Chicken:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Sauce:
- 1 packet (0.7 oz) dry Italian dressing mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup white cooking wine or water
Other:
- 8 oz angel hair pasta (cooked and drained)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the Chicken: Put the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Mix the Sauce: In a medium bowl, combine Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, chicken broth, and white wine (or water) until smooth.
- Cook: Pour the sauce over the chicken in the crockpot. Cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours until chicken is tender.
- Prepare Pasta: Cook angel hair pasta according to package instructions.
- Combine and Serve: Shred or slice chicken in the crockpot, mix with the sauce. Serve over cooked pasta. Garnish with parsley.
