Description

A savory and irresistible snack featuring Ritz Bits Cheese Crackers coated in a flavorful garlic butter mixture and Parmesan cheese, baked to crispy perfection. Perfect for parties, movie nights, or any time you crave a cheesy, garlicky treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Snacks

  • 8 oz (227g) Ritz Bits Cheese Crackers

Garlic Butter Mixture

  • 4 tbsp (56g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely minced or pressed
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp salt

Cheese

  • 3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prepare for baking.
  2. Make Garlic Butter: Melt the unsalted butter in a bowl or saucepan. Stir in finely minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt until well combined to create the garlic butter mixture.
  3. Coat Crackers: Place Ritz Bits Cheese Crackers in a large mixing bowl. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the crackers and toss them thoroughly to ensure even coating.
  4. Add Cheese: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the coated crackers. Toss again to fully cover the crackers with the cheese for added flavor.
  5. Bake: Spread the coated crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even baking and crispiness.
  6. Cool & Serve: Remove the crackers from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes. Serve immediately for the best crunch, or store in an airtight container once fully cooled.

Notes

  • Make sure to stir the crackers halfway during baking to prevent burning and promote even crisping.
  • You can adjust the amount of garlic according to your preference for stronger or milder garlic flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature to maintain crispness for up to 3 days.
  • For variation, try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or smoked paprika for a spicy kick.
