Description

Delightfully festive Bunny Butt Oreos featuring Golden Oreo cookies dipped in white almond bark, decorated with nonpareils, bunny candy feet, and pearl candy balls to create an adorable bunny-themed treat perfect for Easter or spring celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale

Cookies and Coating

  • 1 package Golden Oreo Cookies
  • 2 cups White Almond Bark (melted)

Decorations

  • White Nonpareils
  • 1 package Wilton Bunny Candy Feet
  • 1 bottle White Pearl Candy Balls (for the tails)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the workspace and melt chocolate. Lay out a large sheet of parchment paper on your counter or table. Pour the white nonpareils into a shallow dish with a flat bottom for easy dipping. Cut the white almond bark into 4 squares and place them in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring well after each, until the almond bark is fully melted and smooth.
  2. Dip and decorate Oreos. One at a time, dip each Golden Oreo cookie into the melted white almond bark, covering one whole side. Immediately dip the coated side into the white nonpareils to cover it evenly. Lay the cookie on the parchment paper with the dipped side facing up. Press two Wilton Bunny Candy Feet gently onto the coated side to secure them in place while the chocolate is still wet.
  3. Add tails and set. Place a single white pearl candy ball in the center of the dipped side of each cookie to resemble a bunny tail. Allow the decorated Oreos to sit undisturbed for about 1 hour to let the white almond bark harden completely, securing the decorations. Once set, arrange on a platter or plate, serve, and enjoy your charming Bunny Butt Oreos!

Notes

  • Use high-quality white almond bark for smooth dipping and better taste.
  • Make sure to dip Oreos quickly before the almond bark hardens.
  • If almond bark thickens while working, gently reheat in short increments to maintain a smooth consistency.
  • Keep the decorated Oreos in a cool, dry place to prevent melting.
  • These treats are perfect for Easter celebrations or springtime parties.
